Lecheng Strawberry Flan

Lecheng_flan_1

What do you do with leche flan  sitting idly on the fridge and a small basket of freshly picked strawberries? Marry them to make the sweet tooth of the  house happy.

So I washed the strawberries, hulled them nice and sliced them good. I tossed the fruits in a bowl  mixed it with a sugar and placed them in the microwave for two minutes at high heat to  induce the SB juice to meld with the sugar. Didn't realize that two freakin minutes in the nuke was too hot for the strawberry sugar mixture. So the precious strawberry syrup splashed and messed upthe  microwave's interior.Only a little was left for the flan. Hence, Lecheng  Strawberry Flan.

Cooking is easy but cleaning up is hard to do. Lucky me, I have a wife who's a good dishwasher.

I Love you honey.
